Two Arrests at Two Ends of Mall Minutes Apart
Police charge a man and a woman with crimes in two separate incidents within minutes of each other at Springfield Mall.

Springfield police are investigating two cases of retail theft that happened at opposite ends of Springfield Mall within a few minutes of each other last Thursday.

February 13 at 4:25 p.m.
Macy's Security reported that they had a female in custody for Retail Theft at the store. Sprinfield Police Patrolman Michael Kingsbury responded and took (a 27-year-old woman) from the 700 Blk. of Hoffman St. in Phila. into custody and transported her to the Springfield Police Station.

She was charged with Retail Theft for taking $944.03 worth of merchandise from the store and Receiving Stolen Property. Detective Daniel McNeely is handling the investigation.
February 13 at 4:41 p.m.
Target Security in the Springfield Mall reported that they had a male in custody for Retail Theft at the store. Patrolman Sean Clifton responded and took (a 22 year old man) from the 200 Blk. of Evergreen Ave. in Folsom into custody and transported him to the Springfield Police Station.
He was issued a citation for Retail Theft for taking $116.59 worth of merchandise from the store. Detective Robert Nutley is handling the investigation.
