Avoid I-76 Into Philly After 9 a.m.
Construction work in both directions will cause major delays on the Schuylkill Expressway between the rush hours Wednesday.
If you plan to drive into or out of Center City Philadelphia from Tredyffrin today, you would do well to avoid I-76/The Schuylkill Expressway.
PennDOT plans to reduce the highway to just one lane in each direction between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. for construction betwen Gladwyne and Conshohocken.
The road work is expected to cause major delays during the midday hours.
