Bearhill Road Closing Overnight 2-Plus Weeks For PECO Work: PennDOT

Northbound Bearhill Road will be closed overnight on weeknights due to the work, PennDOT said. See details on the detour route here.

TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP, PA — Bearhill Road in Tredyffrin Township will be closed partially due to PECO work for just over two weeks, according to PennDOT.

The northbound lanes of Bearhill Road/Route 252 will be closed Oct. 20 through Nov. 3 for PECO utility construction, PennDOT said.

Closure hours are 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning on weeknights.

The road will be closed between Maple and Lancaster avenues.

During the closure, drivers going west on Lancaster Avenue/U.S. 30 will be directed to us Morehall Road/Route 29 and Swedesford Road. Motorists traveling east on Lancaster Avenue will be directed to use Old Lancaster, Howellville, and Cassatt roads.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur.
