Bearhill Road Closing Through Early October

PennDOT said a portion of Bearhill Road will be closed overnight from Monday to Oct. 3 due to PECO utility work. Drivers will be detoured.

TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP, PA — A Tredyffrin Township road will be impacted by overnight PECO work for two weeks, according to PennDOT.

PECO crews will be doing utility construction on Bearhill Road/Route 252 beginning next week.

The work will be done overnight, Monday through Oct. 3, forcing a portion of the road to close.

Northbound Bearhill Road will be closed from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. the next morning between Maple and Lancaster avenues.

During the closure, drivers will be directed to follow the posted detour.

Local access will be maintained.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur.
