Broadway Comes to Berwyn For Sat. Fundraiser

Footlighters Theater to host Broadway Rox for a fundraising night of The Best of Broadway performed by some of the Best of Philly on Saturday Feb 11th!

This is a one-night-only opportunity to enjoy some of Broadway’s greatest hits live on Footlighters Theater’s stage.   A group comprised of professional performers and students of the craft, Broadway Rox brings Broadway’s most beloved numbers right to your front door. Founded in the Summer of 2011, Rox is the brainchild of Ryan Tygh and Maggie Cummings, two professional film and stage performers from right here in the Delaware Valley.

Tygh, a member of the Screen Actors Guild, has appeared in over twenty major motion pictures, including the Academy Award Winning pictures “A Beautiful Mind” and “The Wrestler”. He will appear next in the Lionsgate release “Safe”, starring Jason Statham, and next fall he will be seen duking it out with Bradley Cooper in “The Silver Linings Playbook”.

Cummings, a graduate of The Tisch School of the Arts at NYU, and a founding member of The Fabrefaction Theater Company in Atlanta Georgia, is an accomplished actress and vocalist. Having also studied in London, Cummings has now brought her talents to local stages such as The Walnut Street Theater, The Hedgerow Theater, and most recently The Montgomery Theater in Souderton PA.
