Easttown Public Works Department Is Hiring

EASTTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — The Easttown Township Public Works Department is hiring.

The department is looking to bring on a laborer, and the pay starts at $26 an hour. Benefits include paid time off, as well as health and dental insurance.

Shifts are eight hours, Monday through Friday, with the option for overtime.

"This position is a full-time union position responsible for operating, repairing, and maintaining the roads, sewers, parks, and facilities of all public works services, which includes but is not limited to, 50 miles of streets and highways, fleet maintenance, parks and sanitary sewer maintenance and facilities, storm water infrastructure management for approximately 11,000 residents in 8.2 square miles," the job description reads.

Applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent G.E.D., with a combination of education, training, and or experience in construction, facilities maintenance, or trades, CDL (or ability to obtain one within 90-days of hire date), valid Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle Operator’s License and available for emergency calls, and after-hours responses. Please indicate if you have a PA Sewer Operators License.

Those with a Sewer Operators License are preferred.
