Easttown Township Will Compost Your Pumpkins, More For You

Now that Halloween has come and gone, many Easttown residents may be wondering what to do with their pumpkins, carved or not.

EASTTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Easttown Township resident who have pumpkins they'd like to get rid of can do so easily through Sunday.

The township is hosting fall composting collections now through Sunday at the Easttown Township Garage.

Accepted items are pumpkins, mums, cornstalks, straw bales, and hay bales.

Yard waste, painted/glittered pumpkins, candles, or binding wire are not accepted at the garage.

All items will be taken to Linvilla Orchards for composting.
