Forecast: Snow and Ice Won't Linger for Long

The snow should stop by mid-day Saturday and wash away soon.

The National Weather Service (NWS) Forecast calls for snow to turn into freezing rain before the storm that blanketed the region moves out by mid afternoon.

The storm will clear but temperatures will drop again after sunset on Saturday, when roads could re-freeze and create the potential for dangerous driving.

By Monday there should be no trace of the weekend storm left on the ground when temperatures are forecast to soar into the mid-50's.
