Health inspectors found several violations in restaurants in January.
BERWYN, PA —Health inspectors visited establishments in Berwyn during the first three weeks of January.
Inspectors found some establishments in violation of health codes set by the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture.

- JT Wilder BBQ, 6 S Lakeside Ave., four violations: two cartons of eggs above ready-to-eat foods in cooler, bottles without labels, spatula in disrepair, mops not being hung to dry.
- Hibachi of Valley Forge, 240 Swedesford Road, six violations: food utensils for rice stored in a container of water, wet clothes in the sushi prep area, walk-in freezer not closing, a food contact surface has residue, non-food surfaces not clean, plumbing system not in good repair.
- Candelario's Pizza, 802 Lancaster Ave., 10 violations: two cans of food dented, raw chicken near ready-to-eat food, used knives stored between prep tops, plastic mail crates in food storage area, bain marie cooler near oven, hood filters with grease, handwash sink without paper towels, and flies in the ware-washing area.
- Sage Catering, 1000 Lancaster Ave.: 1 violation: leak in the high-temperature dishwasher.
- McDonald's, 260 Swedesford Ave.: four violations: excessive ice in freezer, ware washing equipment with buildup, plumbing system not in good repair, and broken equipment.
- 7-Eleven Inc., 904 Swedesford Road: 1 violation, audio alarm is silent.
