The Tredyffrin Historic Preservation Trust is presenting a lecture by historian and computer animator Sean Moir.  Moir has developed new animated maps that show exactly how British and American troops moved through what is now the backyards and shopping centers of It's a fascinating new way to see and perhaps get a whole new appreciation and understanding of important U.S. history that played out where we live, shop, and play sports today.

Moir, who also chairs the Tredyffrin Parks Board, says he will show how the maps of the revolutionary days would look if troops moved, camped and fought the war in the same places today.  If you're reading this somewhere along Swedesford Road or near the PECO power lines you might be very surprised to know what happened just a few steps away.
