It's Game Time for Upper Main Line Boutiques

It's a sure sign of spring, on the face of stores and on Facebook. Prom season is coming soon, and for TE boutiques hoping to dress the girls, it's already in full swing.

You don't need to look much further than the big sign on on Lancaster Ave.. A few thousand feet away, (next to the Paoli Acme) is also in full prom mode.

In these economic times the competition for clients is fiercer than ever. Mainline Media News recently profiled the owners of several Upper Main Line boutiques who, like millions of small businesses, have tried different ideas to get customers and potential customers to take a look at their merchandise.

Sunday Van Cleve posted a photo of their table at Malvern Prep's Fashion show on Facebook.  Polka Dots routinely takes part in similar trunk shows around the region and features fashions and accessories on its website.
