Looking for Work? Wegmans is Hiring Now
Popular grocery chain is looking for all kinds of part time help.
It's hard to miss the new Wegmans store if you're driving between Tredyffrin and King of Prussia. What may be a little harder to see from U.S. 202 or if you're driving by quickly are the help wanted signs and "apply now" banners that ring the giant new parking lot.
The family-owned grocery chain is preparing to open its newest store off Upper Gulph and Warner Roads (near Swedesford Road) and they're hiring. According to the Wegmans website the new King of Prussia store will be hiring more than 400 part time workers for the store.
Wegmans is no ordinary gorcery store, and the company offers workers some benefits that are also extra-ordinary, including scholarship programs for part time as well as full time workers.

Part-time employees can receive up to $1,500 a year for four years (or a total of $6,000), and full-time employees can receive up to $2,200 a year for four years (up to $8,800 total). To receive a scholarship, Wegmans employees must meet academic and work-performance criteria. Eligibility is also based on a minimum number of work hours over a specified time period."
