Lots of Jobs Still Available at Big Lots

The new low price department store is scheduled to open in less than a month and the manager says he still needs to hire about 30 people.

The jobs are working in all departments in the store, which is located in the former Linens & Things space in the (Behind ) and next to Pet Smart.

You'll need to apply in person with the manager from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. weekdays. They are looking for people over 18 to work in all departments and all shifts.  The manager says there may be jobs available later in the year for students under 18. Federal and state regulations restrict the hours and jobs that minors can work so the manager says he wants to fill the full time positions first to assess what kind of workforce he will have and what jobs would be avaialble for student workers once the store opens in mid November
