Thursday's break in the summer heat and humidity gave way to a picture perfect night for taking moon shots.
This month's actual full moon will be Friday night. There should be pretty good moon viewing Friday night as well. The National Weather Service Forecast calls for mostly clear skies after another mostly clear day with highs in the mid 80's.
Heat and humidity are expected to start building slightly over the weekend and there is a strong chance that region will experience heatwave number five for the summer beginning on Monday.
