Motorcyclist Killed In Chester County Turnpike Crash

A fatal accident near the PA Turnpike US 202 exit near King of Prussia left a Bradford County man dead on Thursday.

KING OF PRUSSIA, PA — A 30-year-old man died in a motorcycle crash with a truck on the PA Turnpike on Thursday, the Chester County Coroner's Office said.

In a Friday news statement, Chester County Coroner Christina VandePol, MD, said Logan Carl Abbott of Bradford County, Pa. was the victim in the fatal accident.

VandePol reported Abbott was driving a motorcycle that collided with a truck near mile marker 320.5 on the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Chester County.

The collision site was in between the Turnpike exit to PA 29/US 202 at mile marker 324.5 and Exit 312 at Pottstown Pike/US 322 in Tredyffrin Township.

Pennsylvania State Police Troop T in King of Prussia is investigating the crash, the Coroner's news statement said.
