Paoli Residents React To Proposed New Apartment Development
On Chestnut Road in Paoli, the planned conversion of an office building to apartments stimulates concerns.
The new Owners of the 83 Chestnut office building plan to convert it to apartments and have made a Conditional Use Application to increase the density. While conversion to apartments is allowable under Town Center zoning, Conditional Use has further standards and criteria.
The Owners met with the Tredyffrin Planning Commission in July, and the Conditional Use Hearing commenced with Township Supervisors on Monday August 19th. The Hearing was not completed on the 19th, and it will be continued on September 4th.
