New TESD Elementary School Name Announcement Coming
Options are: Bear Hill Elementary School, Blue Heron Elementary School, Bluestone Elementary School, and Covered Bridge Elementary School.
TREDYFFRIN-EASTTOWN, PA — The Tredyffrin/Easttown School District is getting closer to naming its new elementary school.
The Ad Hoc Public Information Committee met to review the feedback and select a final name to recommend to the school board Tuesday night.
Now, the committee will present its final recommendation at the Regular School Board Meeting on Monday.

"The District appreciates the community’s participation in this process and looks forward to announcing the name of TESD’s newest elementary school," the district said in a message to the community.
After establishing the naming process last fall, the committee invited residents to submit name suggestions, resulting in many thoughtful options.

In January, they reviewed submissions and identified four final contenders: Bear Hill Elementary School, Blue Heron Elementary School, Bluestone Elementary School, and Covered Bridge Elementary School.
To ensure continued community involvement, the district collected additional public feedback on these final options from Jan. 31 to Feb. 12.
