If you haven’t done it already, now’s the time to bring your plants in.
The National Weather Service has issued a freeze warning from 2 a.m. to 9 a.m. Saturday morning for many suburban Philadelphia counties, including Chester and Montgomery.
Temperatures are expected to dip to the high 20s and low 30s.
Temperatures that low can kill sensitive plants.
If you’re hoping to enjoy the plants outside for a little longer or if they are planted in the ground and you want to protect them, try putting something like a sheet around them to block some of the cold. If possible, bring them closer to a structure, such as the wall of your home.
