PECO Crews To Conduct Tree Work In Tredyffrin
PECO said contractors will be trimming and removing trees where necessary in Tredyffrin to improve reliability and reduce outages.
TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP, PA — PECO crews will be surveying trees in Tredyffrin Township in an effort to improve reliability and reduce the number of vegetation-related power outages.
Workers will be trimming trees, and removing trees where necessary.
PECO said it is aiming to minimize direct customer impact as much as possible and will complete the project in a safe and timely manner.

Roads colored green on the map online here are where the work will take place.
This work is in addition to PECO's regular preventive tree trimming, which is completed on a four-year cycle, and helps to keep trees and power lines a safe distance apart.

During the next few weeks, Davey Resource Group, will be in areas of Tredyffrin surveying the necessary tree work. If there is required tree work on a property, PECO will contact residents directly to review the plan in-person.
This tree work is anticipated to be completed in October.
During the work, crews may need to temporarily interrupt electric service to safely complete some of this work.
PECO said it will work with customers to ensure they are informed in advance of any activity and any planned interruptions.
