PECO Work To Close Easttown Township Road For 2 Weeks

EASTTOWN, PA — Newtown Road in Easttown Township will be closed for two weeks due to PECO work, PennDOT said.

The road will close weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Dec. 19.

PennDOT said crews will be working between Sugartown and Waterloo roads.

During the closure, drivers will be detoured Sugartown Road, Darby Paoli Road/Route 252, St. David’s Road, and Newtown Street Road.

Local access will be maintained.

Drivers are should allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur.

All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
