Police Investigate Back-to-Back Break-Ins
Tredyffrin Police say two houses were hit within two-and-a-half hours.
Tredyffrin police are investigating a pair of home break-ins that happened within two-and-a-half hours of each other on the same street.
The first was reported at 12:15pm on March 20 in the 1500 block of Yellow Springs Road in Malvern, Tredyffrin Township. Police say he home owner told police that when they returned to the house they discovered the front and rear doors had been forced open. Police say nothing appeared to have been taken and the crime is under investigation.
The second break-in was reported at 2:42 p.m. on the same day in the 2100 block of Yellow Springs Road in Malvern. Tredyffrin Police say that the victim in this case disovered that the front door had been kicked open. Police say the home's master bedroom "was ransacked and a drawer of jewelry was missing." The value of the items that were take has not been determined.
