Police Respond to Attempted Break In

Tredyffrin Township police responded to what they are calling an attempted burglary incident earlier in August.

According to a release from the department, officers were notified of an attempted break in on Brookmead Road in Wayne on August 9. Police on the scene found marks believed to be made by a pry bar on the area house, as well as a cut screen on one of the windows.

According to reports, the homeowners had heard scratching noises earlier in the day, but had dismissed them, thinking it was some kind of animal.

Police are looking into the incident.
