PSSA Testing Starts Monday in T/E Schools

Students and teachers in grades 3-8 and 11 gear up for critical assessment test.

The Pennsylvania Systems of School Assessment or PSSA tests measure how each public school in Pennsylvania is performing. It's used to measure adequate yearly progress (AYP) is every public school in the state.

Students in grades 3-8 and 11th grade will be tested in math and reading this week and early next week. Students in grades 4, 8, and 11 will be tested in science during the week of April 23.

Schools encourage students to have a good breakfast, get a good night's sleep and bring number 2 pencils.
