Recalculating Route: GPS Behind this Mess

There's a GPS behind this scene, but it's probably not what you'd guess.

A van got stuck in the mud Wednesday before 9 p.m. Tuesday night at the corner of Sugartown Road and Newtown Road in Easttown.

Traffic was slightly inconvenienced at that corner but nobody was injured. Police on the scene told Patch the driver of the van had pulled off on the grassy and muddy shoulder on Southbound Newtown Road to check for directions on a GPS device.

While the van was stopped, at least one tire sank into the soft, squishy mud. Police say a tow truck was called in to pull the van out of the muddy shoulder just south of Sugartown Rd.
