Sinkholes Close Tredyffrin Road, Bridge

Glenhardie Road and the Glenhardie Road Bridge over Trout Creek are closed as the township and contractors work to remediate the issues.

TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP, PA — Sinkholes have closed Glenhardie Road in Tredyffrin Township, officials said.

Glenhardie Road and the Glenhardie Road Bridge over Trout Creek are closed to all through traffic during sinkhole remediation work, according to the township.

The township is working with CGS to remediate sinkholes on Glenhardie Road near the Glenhardie Road Bridge over Trout Creek. The work is expected to last two to three weeks.

Officials said the road will stay closed until permanent roadway repairs have been completed.

Drivers can detour the area using Richards Road to Thomas Road to Walker Road, and vice versa, during the road closure.
