Snow Stops, Sunday's Sunny

The sun comes out for Sunday, but a full recovery may take more than a day.

The unusual October snowstorm stopped overnight Saturday. The snow is over and the weather system that caused the Nor'easter has moved out of the area.

In the aftermath, Tredyffrin, Easttown and much of Chester County were waking up to icy roads, downed trees and unseasonably cold temperatures. Depending on where you live there was a trace to several inches of snow on the ground along with the branches and limbs.

The National Weather Service NWS forecast calls for sunny skies and a high near 45 degrees. The temperature will drop back down to 32 overnight, according to the NWS. That could cause any snow run-off to freeze again before a mostly sunny Monday with a high of 49 degrees. The forecast calls for temperatures near 60 by Thursday.
