Main Line Township Hiring Summer Help In Public Works Department

TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP, PA — Tredyffrin Township is looking to fill the part-time position of summer laborer in the Public Works Department.

Ideal candidates must be able to perform a variety of skilled and unskilled duties, including but not limited to property and building maintenance, road maintenance, custodial duties, and other Public Works tasks as assigned.

The successful candidate must be able to operate non-CDL Township trucks, including but not limited to pickups and Class 7 dump trucks, walk behind and riding mowers, string trimmer, air compressors, smaller tractors, etc.

Applicants must be in good physical condition and be able to walk, crouch, climb and carry heavy objects, and work in all types of weather conditions.

The township is seeking candidates with a strong work ethic, positive attitude and desire to learn new skills.

Qualifications for this position include:

• Valid PA driver’s license, Class C
• 18 years of age or older, due to the equipment being used
• Availability for scheduled and emergency overtime duty, as needed

Hours are 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.

Pay starts at $15 an hour.
