Tax Increase Looms With New Tredyffrin/Easttown School District Budget
The Tredyffrin/Easttown School District Monday night will vote on the 2025-26 budget, which, if, approved will increase property taxes.
TREDYFFRIN-EASTTOWN, PA — Residents in Tredyffrin and Easttown townships may see higher tax bills next year if the Tredyffrin/Easttown School District approves its 2025-26 budget Monday night.
The school board will meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday at Conestoga High School, 200 Irish Road in Berwyn, to vote on the budget.
According to the district, the final 2025-26 budget features $190.3 million in revenues, $6.1 million in fund balance allocation, and $196.4 million in expenditures.

If the budget gets OKed Monday, residents will see higher tax bills.
The current millage rate levied by TESD is 28.3373 mills, and the new budget would increase it to 29.6567 mills.

With that rate, a home with an assessed value of $500,000 will see a property tax bill from the district of $14,828.35.
