Thousands Flock to Paoli Blues Fest

Bright sun and temperatures near 90 bathe music lovers.

"it never rains on the Blues Fest" Co-Chair Pattye Benson promised.

She was right. Scorching autumn heat in the high 80's  and clear skies helped draw thousands to the annual Paoli Blues Fest Saturday.

The fifth annual Blues Fest may have been the hottest so far with temperatures hovering near 90 degrees.  The blues and the bands were still cool.

Billy Thompson, Fast Eddie and the Slowpokes,  Octavia, Little Buddy,  Dokta D and the Infirmary, and Mikey Junior kept the crowds cheering and dancing while vendors from all over the region shared their wares, sampled their samples and courted customers in the parking lot of The Paoli Village Shoppes.

An official crowd estimate wasn't available Saturday but the Main Line's biggest outdoor concert drew thousands to Paoli.
