Titanic Sets Sail in Tredyffrin this Week

One hundred years after Titanic sank, students at will mark the anniversary with Titanic the Musical, which opens Wednesday, Feb 29 and runs through Saturday, March 3. There will be five performances, including evenings at 7:30 p.m. and a Saturday matinee at 2 p.m..

The Broadway musical does not tell the same fictionalized story made famous by the James Cameron movie Titanic. The stage show focuses on the actual stories of the passengers and crew who were aboard the White Star Line's 'unsinkable' ship as she raced from England toward New York before striking an iceberg and sinking in the North Atlantic in the early morning hours of April 14, 1912.
