Tredyffrin/Easttown Hosts Budget Meeting
The district's finance committee meets Monday, May 8, to discuss the 2023-2024 school budget.

TREDYFFRIN/EASTTOWN, PA —Tredyffrin/Easttown School Board’s finance committee’s next budget meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. Monday, May 8, in the district's administration office, 940 West Valley Road.
The school board members encourage public participation during the budget development process.
All board committee meetings are open to the public and have public comment periods.

The school board on April 24 approved a $ 177 million preliminary budget.
The board and administration will continue to work to close the projected operating deficit of $8.2 million between now and final budget approval on June 12.

The final property tax rate will not be set until the June board meeting.
The budget includes the first year of the new Tredyffrin Easttown Education Association Collective Bargaining Agreement, a $6 million capital funds transfer, increases in employee healthcare costs, a reduction in the state transportation subsidy, grant funds, and various staffing additions.
