Tredyffrin Township Police Still Looking For 1 Of 2 Suspects In July 4 Fire In Devon
Tredyffrin Township Police have identified 2 suspects in the July 4 tossing of a lit firework into a Devon home, but one remains at large.

TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP, PA — Two men who police say caused a fire last July 4 when they tossed fountain-style fireworks into an occupied Devon home have been identified and face felony charges, but one remains at large.
Tredyffrin Township Police reported two suspects were identified after an extensive investigation of the incident at Stonegate of Devon Apartment Homes last summer. The lit fireworks tossed into a home caused a fire and endangered lives, police said.
The Berwyn Fire Company responded with police the night of the fire. The burning device landed in an occupied apartment, damaging carpets and walls, an official report at the time said. Police said the device was recovered for forensic analysis.

Alvin Agolia, 26, of Devon, is charged with four felonies. The charges are arson — endangering property-reckless endangerment of inhabited buildings; risking a catastrophe, conspiracy to commit arson and recklessly endanger inhabited buildings, and conspiracy to risk catastrophe.
Agolia is charged with three additional misdemeanor charges, including criminal mischief and endangering persons. He is free on $50,000 bail, court records show.

Police are still looking for a second suspect identified in the case, Jovan Watkins, 24, of Philadelphia.
Watkins is charged with two felonies: conspiracy to risk a catastrophe, and conspiracy to commit arson, endangering property and recklessly endangering inhabited buildings. He is additionally charged with misdemeanors of recklessly endangering another person and criminal mischief or neglect, court records show.
Tredyffrin Township Police have issued a warrant for the arrest of Watkins and said today that his whereabouts remain unknown.
