USPS Hosting Job Fair On Main Line Friday

WAYNE, PA — The United States Postal Service is hosting another local career fair on the Main Line.

A job fair is scheduled from noon to 4 p.m. Friday at the Wayne Post Office, 1000 W. Valley Road in Wayne.

"We’ve seen big turnouts on Saturdays as many folks are seeking job changes while looking for good benefits and security," USPS Workforce Planning Specialist Stephanie Centeno said. "We have openings for carriers and auto technicians. These positions include federal benefits, career advancement and retirement opportunities."

Postal Service requirements include:

• 18 years old at the time of appointment or 16 years old with a high school diploma;
• United States citizen, permanent resident or citizen of American Samoa or other U.S. territory for at least 5 years;
• Ability to clear criminal background check;
• Safe driving record (if applicable to position).
