Waterloo Avenue In Easttown Closed For Utility Upgrades: PennDOT

The state Department of Transportation are advised to provide extra time when driving near the work area.

EASTTOWN, PA —Easttown Township announced Tuesday that utility improvements on Waterloo Avenue begin on Tuesday, Sept. 5.

Waterloo Avenue will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. from Tuesday, Sept. 5 through Friday, Dec. 1 between Midland Avenue and Dogwood Lane.

During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Lancaster Avenue, Waterloo Road, and Sugartown Road.

Local access will be maintained up to the work zone.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather-dependent.

Easttown Township will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
