Weekend Forecast: Snow Dusting, Then Cold

You'll wake up to a dusting on Saturday but then brace for a bitter blast.

The weekend will start wet and then become frigid as a system that will dust the region with snow Saturday morning and early afternoon. The concern becomes wet roads on Saturday night when the temperature drops and road surfaces can freeze.

Saturday: Rain and snow before 2pm, then a chance of rain between 2pm and 4pm, then a chance of rain and snow after 4pm. High near 38. North wind between 5 and 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.

Saturday Night: A chance of snow, mainly before 10pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 20. Northwest wind between 13 and 18 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Sunday: Partly sunny, with a high near 33. Breezy, with a west wind between 16 and 24 mph, with gusts as high as 37 mph.

Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 24. West wind between 11 and 17 mph.

Monday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 38. West wind between 9 and 11 mph.
