What Would You Pick to Replace The Paddock?
Friday the 13th seems like an appropriate day to nominate businesses for this parcel of land that's had a lot of bad luck with businesses.
The northwest corner of Lancaster Ave. and Old Eagle School Road has seen a lot of businesses come and go. The Paddock at Devon restaurant failed this month. It replaced John Harvard's, which failed in 2008.
There seems to have been a run of bad luck for businesses trying to make a go of it on what the broker handling the sale of The Paddock tells Patch is the best location on the Main Line for a restaurant.
A successful bid has been made on the property but the pending owners and what kind of business will be going in there has not been announced.
