Bucks Driver Hospitalized After Vehicle Struck By SEPTA Train
A Bucks County driver was hospitalized Tuesday after his vehicle was struck by a SEPTA Train in New Britain, authorities said.
NEW BRITAIN, PA - A Bucks County driver was hospitalized Tuesday after his vehicle was struck by a SEPTA Train in New Britain, authorities said.
At around 9:30 p.m., New Britain Township Police responded to a call of a vehicle struck by a train in the area of Schoolhouse Road and Walnut Street, police said.
Police found a 2008 Chevrolet Trailblazer at the scene with the front of the vehicle under a SEPTA commuter train.

A 59-year-old driver from Perkasie was extricated from the vehicle by fire and EMS personnel, police said. He was taken to Grand View Hospital and was last listed in stable condition. No passengers on the train were injured.
The incident is under investigation by the New Britain Township Police Department.
