Upper Dublin Fire Marshal Timothy Schuck told Action News that they believe the fire started in the back of the home, in a sitting room, where a woman stayed because of a disability she had.

Authorities said part of the second-floor bedroom collapsed during the fire and that the home is a total loss.

Horsham Community Policing Services said the Horsham Township Fire Department was assisting the Fort Washington Fire Company No. 1 Thursday morning.

Horsham ChATs said the fire is in the vicinity of Bellaire Ave and Highland Avenue and that drivers should expect road closures and delays for the next hour or so.

Emergency Alerts of Southeastern Pennsylvania posted on Facebook Thursday that the fire at 900 Bellaire Avenue involves several neighboring fire departments.

Officials reported heavy smoke in the rear of the home and multiple lines have been extended to all floors.
