UPPER DUBLIN TOWNSHIP, PA — A stretch of Butler Pike will be closed overnight Wednesday for work on the County Bridge 83A project site, officials said.

Starting at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Butler Pike will be closed between Morris Road in Upper Dublin Township and Maple Avenue in Ambler Borough.

The closure is necessary for overnight crane work to install the phase two culvert elements at the County Bridge 83A project site.

A temporary, full detour will be in place for the overnight operation, which is expected to last until 5 a.m. Thursday.

Drivers are advised to follow the temporary detour during those hours.
