Emergency Pipe Replacement Planned For Dreshertown Road

UPPER DUBLIN TOWNSHIP, PA —Emergency pipe replacement work is scheduled for Thursday on Dreshertown Road, meaning that motorists will have to find an alternative route, PennDOT said.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said that motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:

During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Route 63 (Welsh Road), Fitzwatertown Road, and Susquehanna Road.

Local access will be maintained. Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur.

Currently, Aqua Pennsylvania is performing a water main installation on Dreshertown Road between Route 63 (Welsh Road) and Nicole Drive under a weekday road closure, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, through late June.
