New Spa Opens in Fort Washington

Sage Spa, Fort Washington's newest addition, opened in late March on Bethlehem Pike.

Owner, Tammy Moore, said, "I live and breathe this business." She continued that she has been working in the business for many years and decided it was time to take the skills she had learned and go out on her own.

However, Moore is not alone, she said that she has brought a fantastic team with her. "I might be the owner, but they are my partners," she said.

"This is a body and my team is the heart," she said.

Sage Spa offers massage, facials, peels, waxing, body treatments and more. They also offer energy work, including energy facials and energy pedicures.

Moore said for their nails, there is a separate room for manicures and pedicures and everything used is fresh and new, none of the equipment is reused.

There is also a Zen Room, which is open to clients to enjoy before and between their services. Moore described the room as relaxing, and offers clients tea and infused water.

Moore said Sage Spa is all about balancing.

"The overall experience [is unique] from the time you come in until the time you leave," she said.

Moore said of the space on Bethlehem Pike was perfect, "a world in itself," and "What I wanted."

She explained that sage is all about cleansing and releasing bad energy and she wants her clients to feel at peace here.

Sage Spa is open Tuesday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Wednesday through Friday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Appointments and walking welcome.
