Construction On Warminster Road To Continue Through October

PECO is building new gas mains along Warminster Road, potentially impacting traffic in the area for several months.

UPPER MORELAND, PA — Additional traffic is possible on a stretch of Warminster Road in Upper Moreland Township as construction work gets underway this summer.

PECO is installing new underground gas pipes in the area.

Work will impact Warminster Road from Byberry Road to Tanner Avenue. It will take place each weekday from 7 p.m. to 3 p.m.

The project will begin July 1. Officials estimated that work will be completed by Oct. 2024.

Residents with indoor natural gas meters may be contacted by PECO to have them moved outside and to an above-ground location during the work.
