'Egg Drop' Competition Makes 'Humpty Dumpty' Proud

A year-end Upper Moreland Intermediate School tradition leaves students with a greater appreciation for the egg.

At the end of every school year, fifth graders at the take part in a small competition known as “The Egg Drop.”

Students create a small contraption that will protect one uncooked egg from a variety of tosses and smashes. Students need to plan, prepare and practice to produce quality devices.

Congratulations to fifth grade Egg Drop winners Christopher Carenzo and Eleni Koukaras.
