Lansdale/Doylestown Line Delayed, Power Outages Hammer Area
The severe storms that swept through the area Thursday caused some significant damage.

LANSDALE, PA — The severe storms that swept through the area Thursday caused some significant damage in the greater Lansdale area, knocking out power for tens of thousands of residents in Montgomery County and raising issues along the Lansdale/Doylestown SEPTA line.
The line was still running but was behind schedule anywhere from 10 minutes to over an hour, according to live updates from SEPTA.
"Trains are experiencing delays and cancellations system-wide due to down wires and trees from yesterday's weather conditions," the agency said in a statement, listing the Lansdale/Doylestown line as one of the regional rails facing issues.
