'Senior Assassin' Game Hits Montgomery County Schools
Police are urging students not to participate in the game as a flood of related 911 calls have come through in recent days.
LOWER MORELAND, PA — Police in Montgomery County are warning students and school communities about a new game called "Senior Assassin" that is increasing in popularity.
Numerous 911 calls have been placed in Lower Moreland Township about armed individuals prowling the streets in relation to the game, police said.
An investigation found that individuals were not actually armed, but were just holding water guns as part of the "Assassin" game.

The game involves students stalking and shooting one another with the water pistols in a form of hide and seek.
"This game is not sanctioned by the school district and has caused concern for members of our community," Lower Moreland Township Police said. "We are urging students not to participate...While we understand this is a game to the participants, its purpose is not known to the general public and could cause alarm."

If students do participate, police urge them not to carry anything that could be mistaken for a real firearm, and do not trespass on private property.
