State Rep. Honors Upper Moreland Coach of Year

State Representative Thomas Murt honored Upper Moreland High School teacher and baseball coach Ernie Rehr with a Citation of Excellence for his vision, energy and enthusiasm, and his setting an example as a role model worthy of emulation.

Rehr, who was named coach of the year recently, said he was "very humbled" and "extremely thankful" for Murt's recognition.

“I certainly could not do what I do without the help of my coaches, players and parents, and the support of my family," Rehr said in a press release. "For that I am forever thankful to them as well."
