Truck Fire Briefly Ties Up Traffic at Turnpike Last Night

Willow Grove Fire Company immediately responded to a vehicle fire at the Pennsylvania Turnpike's Willow Grove Toll Booth last night. According to Upper Moreland Fire Marshal,, the call went out at 8:55 p.m. last night, and quickly brought the vehicle fire was under control.

"It turned out to be a pretty minor fire," Drennen said. "The responders put it out within minutes."

According to Drennen, the vehicle was a commercial dump truck. Traffic at the Willow Grove Interchange resumed back to normal shortly after the incident.
