Upper Moreland Officer Graduates From Prestigious Academy

The Northwestern University "intensive" leadership program works with law enforcement agencies from around the globe.

UPPER MORELAND, PA — An Montgomery County police officer has graduated from a prestigious national training academy, and officials are proudly hailing the accomplishment of one of their own.

The Upper Moreland Township Police Department's Sergeant James Robb recently completed the Northwestern University School of Police Staff and Command's 10 week course.

"The intense 10-week program is designed to prepare law enforcement professionals for success in senior level command positions within the police department," Upper Moreland Police Chief Andrew Block shared. "Areas of focus include budgeting, media relations, organizational behavior, community policing and more."
