Upper Moreland Police Among Departments Hiring New Officers

In-person written and physical agility tests for aspiring police officers will be held next month in Montgomery County.

UPPER MORELAND, PA — Upper Moreland is among several police departments in Montgomery County who are now hiring.

Police are looking for new officers to join the squad and will host an in-person written test and physical agility assessment on Saturday, April 27.

The event will be held at 8 a.m. at Springfield High School on 1801 Paper Mill Road in Erdenheim.

Applicants must meet at least the thirtieth percentile of established standards in both the written and physical tests.

Several Montgomery County departments are participating in the tests for new hires, including Collegeville, Cheltenham, Conshohocken, Montgomery, North Wales, Hatfield, Towamencin, Hatboro, Limerick, Lower Gwynedd, Souderton, Springfield, Whitpain, Upper Moreland, Upper Pottsgrove, and West Conshohocken.
