Upper Moreland Schools Closed Due To 'Serious Threat Of Violence'

Police are investigating.

UPPER MORELAND, PA — Upper Moreland School District shut down all of its schools and offices Monday after a threatening voicemail was left.

The message was left on the transportation department over the weekend. The district did not elaborate on it further beyond calling it a "serious threat of violence."

The threat did not speciy a specific school, so the district shut down all schools "out of an abundance of caution."
